An oasis of good humor
"Culture and management students were guests in the Bohemian spa town of Franzensbad.
Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and its faculty members have excellent connections with companies in the region, even beyond national borders. Under the leadership of Professor Vogt, a research seminar group from the “Culture and Management” Master's degree programme visited Bad Franzensbad in the Bohemian Spa Triangle as guests of Bad Franzensbad AG. Jan Doucha, a former “culture and management” student who now serves on the board of Franzensbad AG, and his team had invited the group to discuss the possibility of a Habsburg museum.
Following in Goethe’s footsteps, the students were able to experience the quality of the luxury “Drei Lilien” hotel and enjoy Czech hospitality—from the welcome and a scenic city tour to the culinary delights. Bad Franzensbad, in their view, is indeed an “oasis of good cheer” (Pavel Doucha).
The students are now looking forward to the return visit by the Franzensbad delegation on July 26 for the presentation of the results of the research seminar on the Habsburg Museum.
