"Culture and Management" students were guests in the Bohemian spa town of Franzensbad.
The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and its professors are excellently networked with companies in the region, even beyond national borders. Under the direction of Professor Vogt, a research seminar group from the "Culture and Management" Master's degree course visited Bad Franzensbad in the Bohemian spa triangle as a guest of Bad Franzensbad AG. Former Culture and Management student Jan Doucha, who is now on the board of Franzensbad AG, and his team were invited to discuss a possible Habsburg Museum.
Following in the footsteps of Goethe, the students were able to try out the quality of the "Three Lilies" luxury hotels and experience and enjoy Czech hospitality from the reception and a scenic tour of the town to the culinary delights. Their impression of Franzensbad was that it really is an "oasis of good humor" (Pavel Doucha).
The students are now looking forward to a return visit from Franzensbad on July 26 to present the results of the research seminar on the Habsburg Museum.
