MDR reports on the Saxon Energy Agency's traveling exhibition on the Zittau campus.
The Saxony5 transfer network was able to bring the traveling exhibition "Efficient Mobility" from the Saxon Energy Agency (SAENA GmbH) to our university at short notice.
The exhibition uses three display boards to provide information on the topics of "Electromobility", "Intelligent Transport Systems" and "Mobility in the Future", with each topic also making a regional reference to the Free State of Saxony.
The exhibition also includes five exhibits. On display is a roadside unit that can be used to exchange information between vehicles and infrastructure. A battery from a plug-in hybrid vehicle, charging plugs for electric vehicles and an electric motor that has been dismantled into its individual parts are also on display. A new addition is the exhibit of a laser scanner, which is used for sensory environment recognition of modern vehicles.
The exhibition is supplemented with exhibits from the transfer and mobility laboratory created under Saxony5.
The topic of the exhibition and the associated research activities at the HSZG attracted the attention of Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk. On Saturday (26.02.), the report on the traveling exhibition "Efficient Mobility" (SAENA) was broadcast on MDR Sachsenspiegel.
