"Relevant to the Future"
David on the Master’s in management of social change:
"Especially in times of demographic change, advancing digitalization, global challenges, and political, social, and economic upheavals, Germany (or Europe) needs experts who can identify emerging trends and develop appropriate strategies to address them. The subject areas covered in the program are diverse and absolutely relevant to the future. Despite the breadth of content, there are opportunities for specialization (organization, social issues, ecology/society, politics, public administration). For those who know why they chose this field of study and what career path they wish to pursue, all doors are open in research, politics, innovation, consulting/communication, and business—at the highest levels of management. My degree led me from leading assessment centers to middle management, then to executive leadership (C-level), and finally to freelance self-employment. I have never regretted my choice of major for a single second, and I can only recommend that anyone interested in transformation processes and steering socially significant developments submit an application for this master’s program.
The degree programme addresses all major issues of the future—largely free of dogma—at a high academic level.
Based on a total of 40,320 student evaluations, the HSZG not only ranks 23rd in the nationwide university ranking with a score of 8.90, but is also Saxony’s most popular university. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the hardworking students who, despite the stress of exams and the demands of college life, took the time to rate their HSZG!
