The university has grown even closer together
With a video Christmas greeting from the Rector, the HSZG University Executive Board wishes everyone a Merry Christmas.
Once again, an eventful year at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is coming to a close.
In his Christmas message, the Rector, Prof. Alexander Kratzsch, addresses students, staff, the faculty, and everyone associated with the university, looking back on the highlights, challenges, and defining moments of 2022.
The introduction of the semester ticket, the great interest in the live-streamed Senate meetings, and the joy of social interaction—which we sorely missed and have now regained—all demonstrated once again last year that the university is characterized by a strong sense of community and mutual openness toward one another.
The Rector expressly thanks everyone who, with their ideas, time, and dedication, helps move the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences forward. In the new year as well, the HSZG will continue to contribute to regional development and has set its sights high by initiating a discussion about its future: Who are we, and in which direction do we want to move? These questions will be central to the new year and will play a decisive role in guiding the university throughout this decade.
