Mobile throughout Germany

Since September 1, HSZG students have been able to use regional and local public transport throughout Germany with the new Germany semester ticket for just €29.40 per month.

Since September 1, 2024, students at Zittau University of Applied Sciences/Görlitz have had the opportunity to use local rail passenger transport (SPNV) and local public transit (ÖPNV) throughout Germany with the new Germany Semester Ticket for just €29.40 per month. As with the previous semester ticket, payment is made as part of the re-registration process before the start of the semester. Students at the preparatory college can also take advantage of the benefits of the Germany Semester Ticket by purchasing it retroactively at the Student Services & International Affairs division (Building Z I, Room R 0.20).

The ticket can be accessed via the Netinera-Tickets app this winter semester. However, we are already working with the University Data Centre to ensure that the ticket will be available in the MyHSZG app from the coming summer semester.

To use the ticket, you need to download the Netinera-Tickets app from the Appstore and register with your university email address (...@stud.hszg.de). The verification process can then be started via Shibboleth. The exact instructions and all important information can be found here in our FAQ.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at semesterticket@hszg.de.

We are pleased that, by introducing the Germany Semester Ticket, we are able to enhance student mobility and thereby make a positive contribution to sustainable transportation for the largest group of university community members. With the planned integration of the ticket into the MyHSZG app, we are taking an important step—together with the university—toward the digitization of services used by students.
