Cheese & Wine - come on in

KIA- Ausbildertreff and Saxony5 host a cozy get-together for entrepreneurs and university staff.

The Saxony5 project team, led by Prof. Zschunke, made its debut at the university on Thursday, June 21, on the rooftop terrace of Building IV. Accompanied by Caribbean music, attendees were briefed on the topics and areas of focus for the next five years. Suggestions from partners in the business community were exchanged and discussed over a glass of wine.

Among others, the companies from the KIA Trainer Group were cordially invited. The KIA officer, Hartmut Paetzold, helped organize the cozy end to the day and expressed great satisfaction: “This event benefited us all: Our partner companies gained insight into current activities at the university that are of interest to them, while our colleagues from Saxony5 took the opportunity to expand their networks. And let’s not forget the truly delicious refreshments. Good job: Thank you!”

A key topic of discussion was the planning for the new Co-Creation Lab for Supply Infrastructure currently under construction at the Zittau campus. There, project ideas will be tested, evaluated, and further developed to market readiness in collaboration with regional companies and research institutions.
