Opportunity for financial independence

An informative event on the dual study program (KIA) offered by our Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and electrical engineering was recently held at the Rahn Education 'Studienkolleg' in Leipzig.

The event was led by Kristin Groß, the KIA officer at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. She was assisted by Sandeep Upadhyaya from Nepal, who is himself pursuing a dual study program in Zittau while simultaneously completing his skilled worker training at Siemens Energy in Görlitz.

The information session offered participants the opportunity to learn more about the dual study program (KIA) at our university and to get answers to their questions. Kristin Groß and Sandeep Upadhyaya were available for one-on-one discussions and provided firsthand insights into the academic program and practical training at a partner company.

Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences has already established close partnerships with over 100 KIA partner companies. This gives students the chance to gain valuable practical experience while remaining financially independent during their dual study program and to optimally prepare for their future careers.
