BücherboXX meets FLAKE

Rammstein keyboardist Christian “FLAKE” Lorenz donated five autographed and numbered copies of his new book , *Heute hat die Welt Geburtstag* (Today Is the World’s Birthday), to the Görlitz “BücherboXX” project, an educational initiative involving students from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. The presentation took place on November 24 at the Landskron-Kulturbrauerei as part of his reading from the new book.

FLAKE is a big fan of the social approach embedded in BücherboXX—which focuses on participation, education, culture, and sustainability—and hopes his donation will support the project’s goal of establishing a permanent BücherboXX in Görlitz.

Anyone who would like to win a copy must send in a “BücherboXX in Görlitz” postcard printed by the project team, with the word “FLAKE,” their first and last names, their email address, and a stamp. The five winners will be drawn from among all postcards received on December 6 at 3:00 p.m. at the Comenius Bookstore in Görlitz and notified by email. The prizes will then be presented to the winners on December 13, also at the Comenius Bookstore.

Postcards for the raffle can be “snagged” at the Comenius Bookstore in Görlitz. Only postcards issued by the project team are valid; the deadline for entries is December 5. The decision is final and not subject to legal recourse.

BücherboXX meets FLAKE is a joint initiative of the Sächsische Zeitung, the Comenius Bookstore in Görlitz, and the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences.
