Students achieve excellent results in German-Russian double degrees!
ITMO University in St. Petersburg and Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences have been working together since 2015. A Russian-German double degree has been available since 2018 as part of the integrated management systems - cleaner production degree program.
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the first students were able to start their double degree in 2020. On 17.06.2021, the first German-Russian double graduates successfully defended their Master's theses.
The three students all completed their studies with very good results. The performance of our Zittau student, Sarah Barth, is particularly pleasing. Her thesis was nominated at ITMO as one of the best theses in 2021, and in recognition of this achievement she has been given the opportunity to take part in a PhD program at ITMO University in St. Petersburg without any further preliminary work.
