The Zittau University Library is showing an exhibition of works by the artist Peter Schiffner until February 2026.
On the library premises, the pictures in various painting and graphic techniques provide an insight into the artistic work of the Zittau native.
Some of the motifs are inspired by the typical landscapes of Upper Lusatia, the mountains of the Zittau Mountains and the neighboring Bohemian Highlands. Visitors can also discover some depictions of the town of Zittau.
Other works reflect travel destinations or themes from the city and nature.
Peter Schiffner has many years of experience working for the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, including in the former Department of Civil Engineering.
Anyone interested is cordially invited to visit the BLICKPUNKTE exhibition free of charge during the opening hours of the Zittau University Library, Hochwaldstraße 12.
