Relationship with the Technical University in Liberec deepened
Cooperation agreement signed for collaboration in the field of mechatronics.
Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG) and the Technical University of Liberec have signed a cooperation agreement to collaborate in the field of mechatronics. This places the teaching activities in the joint three-semester Master's degree programme in mechatronics—which has been in place since 2007—on a new contractual footing.
The Faculty of Mechatronics, Computer Science, and Interdisciplinary Studies at the Technical University of Liberec and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at HSZG share responsibility for the delivery and quality of instruction in this degree programme. Both faculties have also committed to continuously evaluating the quality of instruction and addressing current topics.
The Rector of the Technical University of Liberec, doc. RNDr. Miroslav Brzezina, CSc., and the Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics, Computer Science, and Interdisciplinarity, Prof. Ing. Zdeněk Plíva, took advantage of their visit to HSZG and, at the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Klaus-Dieter Haim, toured the faculty’s laboratories at the Zittau campus.
