Under the direction of Timm Beichelt and Jan Wielgohs (both from the European University Viadrina, Frankfurt/Oder) and Raj Kollmorgen (HSZG), the graduate summer school “Post-Socialist Transformation and the Reorganization of Europe: Long-Term Consequences of the System Change of 1989–1991” will take place from May 31, 2015, to June 5, 2015, at the European University of Frankfurt/Oder as a collaborative project between the two universities.

The summer school is funded by the Federal Foundation for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship. Master’s students who are conducting research on this topic and planning to write their theses on it are also welcome to participate in the summer school.

Notwithstanding the application deadline stated there, HSZG students may still submit applications directly to Prof. Raj Kollmorgen until April 20, 2015.
