Apprentices receive certificates

Four trainees at the university recently successfully completed their apprenticeships.

Four apprentices from the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences recently successfully completed their two-and-a-half-year apprenticeship with the vocational qualification "Electronics technician for devices and systems", which they completed as part of the dual training program - cooperative study with integrated training (KIA).

As part of the farewell ceremony, Christoph Duscha, Head (of divison) Human Resources Administration and Legal Affairs, presented the four newly qualified skilled workers with their Chamber of Industry and Commerce certificates. Julia Rocho, Jonas Dabow and Mathy Neumann will continue their studies in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science'. One trainee will not continue his studies and will instead start work in a company. It is particularly pleasing that the search for a job for him has been very successful in the region.

Christoph Duscha congratulated the graduates and at the same time thanked the trainer Andreas Israel for the high-quality training and his extraordinary commitment. He emphasized that the university was fulfilling its social responsibility to give young people in the region a chance to start a career by offering training in the professions of "office management assistant" and "electronics technician for devices and systems".
