HSZG Master's student receives the special prize at the "Zeiss Woman Award" computer science competition in Dresden.
On the evening of October 13, awards in the field of IT were presented in Dresden at the “Zeiss Woman Award” computer science competition.
Among the participants was Kristin Freudenberg, a master’s student in computer science at our HSZG. She was awarded a special prize and impressed the jury with her extraordinary determination as a mother of two children under the age of four.
Sponsored by the technology company Zeiss, the award is intended to honor young female computer science students who are nearing graduation and recognize their achievements. Female students majoring in computer science, business informatics, or comparable degree programmes were eligible to submit applications, regardless of the degree they were pursuing.
