Kick-off KinoSalon at the Zittau Crown Cinema

Plastic has become an integral part of our everyday lives and plays an equally important role in many areas of various industries and medicine. However, plastic also has a serious impact on the environment, especially on the seas and oceans. The advantages and disadvantages will be discussed on Environment Day 2017 under the motto "Plastic everywhere" on 8.11. in Zittau from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Haus Z IV and discussed together with visitors.

The organizers will welcome their guests to lectures, a tour of the Zittau sewage treatment plant, a workshop on decentralized plastic recycling and an exhibition. You can find the program for the Environment Day in Zittau here.

The Environment Day is open to the public and free of charge for all interested persons. On 9.11. the Day of the Environment in Görlitz will take place.

This day also marks the start of the new KinoSalon season. The documentary film "A Plastic Ocean" will be shown at the Kronenkino in Zittau (Äußere Weberstraße 17) from 7 pm, followed by a discussion. This project is organized by the StuRa, the Student Association of the International University Institute, SNEEP e.V. and the Kronenkino.
