Graduates of the Studienkolleg received certificates

Bright eyes and, above all, pride in their achievements could be seen on the faces of the graduates when they were presented with their certificates on February 8.

It is always a special highlight when the graduates of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences are presented with their certificates. The historical ambience of the Bürgersaal in Zittau Town Hall provided a special and festive setting. Beaming eyes and, above all, pride in their achievements could be seen on the faces of the graduates when they were presented with their certificates on February 8. The graduates come from eleven different countries, including Indonesia and Morocco (the largest groups in terms of numbers with eleven students), Vietnam, Poland, Iran, Syria, Nepal, Russia, Ukraine, Mexico and Cameroon.

A total of 50 graduates (including 15 female graduates) received a certificate and thus took an important first step towards studying in Germany. This semester, all 33 students passed the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP) in accordance with the requirements of the business and technology focus courses. For the first time, all participants in the technology specialization course successfully completed this course. 17 students were awarded a certificate for passing the German Language Test for University Entrance (DSH), three of whom passed at level 3 (the highest level), seven of whom passed the DSH at level 2 and seven of whom passed the DSH at level 1.

31 graduates have decided to study at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences from winter semester 2019/2020 in one of the 40 degree programs.

All other graduates have pre-admission to one of the other Saxon universities of applied sciences.
