7th Hubertusburg Peace Talks

Dear Friends of Hubertusburg,

On September 14 and 15, 2018, the Friends of Hubertusburg e.V. will host the 7th annual Hubertusburg Peace Talks at Hubertusburg Castle in Wermsdorf. This year’s theme is “Bear with one another!—Are we living in (dis)peace?” Among other things, the 5th Hubertusburg Youth Peace Prize will be awarded during the event. As a project group within the Social Work degree programme at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, we are supporting the Hubertusburg Friends Association (Freundeskreis Hubertusburg e.V.) in organizing the Peace Talks under the direction of Prof. Dr. oec. habil. Gisela Thiele.

To this end, we plan to, among other things, shoot a film on the topic of “peace,” create a poster exhibition on “Places of Peace”—which includes Hubertusburg Castle—develop a picture story focusing on the current issue of social exclusion, and organize a workshop on the same topic.
