On April 10, 2025, the new event series "Future Questions of Society" will kick off with a fundamental discussion on the topic: "What is social transformation?". The opening event will focus on the central question of the series - and thus also on the role of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in current and future processes of change. Renowned transformation researcher Prof. Dr. Raj Kollmorgen will open the series together with Elisabeth Niejahr (Hertie Foundation Berlin) and Ulrike Kuch (Bauhaus-Universität Weimar). Kollmorgen will contribute his many years of expertise on processes of social change and political culture and provide impulses for a critical examination of the concept of transformation. The event will be moderated by Carsten Tesch and will take place from 17:00-18:30 in the Maurice-Halbwachs-Auditorium (MHA). The series is accompanied by a seminar and is aimed at students, university members and interested citizens. It combines local and global perspectives on key future topics such as democracy, AI, history and more.
