In the skilled trades, innovations are always solutions that arise from a need. However, innovative ideas can also be developed in a targeted and systematic manner. While larger companies can afford to set up staff units to explore new technologies, this is rarely possible for small and medium-sized craft businesses.
The Chamber of Skilled Crafts supports companies in their search for cooperation partners in science, industry and the skilled trades and establishes contact with universities and research or development institutions that have the necessary know-how and are happy to help.
The university will be providing exciting insights into the LaNDER³ project - a network dedicated to the holistic development of materials and technologies for natural fiber-reinforced plastics (NFRP).
