This event is all about technologies that make work easier in the skilled trades. From drones to exoskeletons, there will be plenty to try out on site and an exchange on possible areas of application. The HWK will also provide advice on funding opportunities and an overview of practical examples.
In the skilled trades, innovations are always solutions that arise from a need. However, innovative ideas can also be developed in a targeted and systematic manner. While larger companies can afford to establish specialized departments to explore new technologies, this is rarely possible for small and medium-sized businesses in the skilled trades.
The Chamber of Skilled Trades supports businesses in their search for cooperation partners in academia, industry, and the skilled trades sector, and establishes contact with universities as well as research and development institutions that possess the necessary expertise and are happy to assist you.
The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is showcasing current projects in which it is exploring new areas of application using VR headsets and drones.
