The Day of Teaching at HSZG invites you to an inspiring exchange on equal opportunity and diversity in the educational landscape through workshops, lectures, discussions, and professional development sessions.
Universities and colleges should promote diversity. For Teaching Week, the focus will be on three aspects:
1.) Supporting students with special needs. An accessible environment should be provided for these students—one that is open to everyone, regardless of individual challenges.
2.) Promoting intercultural competence in teaching. By developing intercultural sensitivity, instructors can create an inclusive learning environment.
3.) Diversity in teaching materials. Discussions will focus on how to integrate different perspectives and backgrounds into the curriculum to reflect a broad spectrum of voices and thus create a more inclusive learning environment.
In addition to active dialogue, successful practical examples provide inspiration. Initiatives and projects will be presented that have already brought about positive changes in terms of equal opportunity and diversity, including at HSZG.
Celebrate Teaching Day with us! This special day offers a great opportunity to highlight and honor the importance of good teaching. Above all, Teaching Day serves as a platform for exchange between faculty and students.
