Lecture series: Gender, medicine and health

How does gender influence the development and treatment of diseases, what consequences does this have for medical care and what social and cultural aspects play a role in these contexts?
The lecture deals with these questions using the two diseases cardiovascular disease and depression as examples. In addition, social and cultural consequences of different perspectives on the gender issue will be presented.
