Lunch with the Vice President to Discuss the “Oberlausitz: A Place for Future Learning” Project

We cordially invite you to a light lunch as part of the information session for the strategic project “Zukunftslernort Oberlausitz” (ZukLOS) of the University for Future initiative led by the university administration. The event will take place on June 21, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Room 3.02 of Building I on the Görlitz campus. To begin, Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Sophia Keil will present the four areas of focus and the current status of the project. Afterward, we invite you to explore and familiarize yourselves with initial ideas for the future use of the makerspace facilities on the Görlitz campus.

At the start of the event, Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Sophia Keil, Vice President for Education and International Affairs, will inform you about the project’s goals, areas of focus, and current status. Following that, we would very much like to engage in a personal exchange with you and answer your questions about the project. Furthermore, we invite you to tour the future experimental workshop on the university’s Görlitz campus, where initial ideas for educational programs that could be offered in rooms 0.26 and 3.15 in the future will be presented.

The event is open to students, staff, and faculty members of Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, as well as anyone else interested.
