Zittau Culture Night
This year, the HSZG will once again be taking part in the Zittau Culture Night on 25.10.2025 with an exciting program.

At the Zittau Culture Night, the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will present a unique combination of experimental live music, high-voltage experiments, and a light installation.
The event combines scientific experiments with artistic forms of expression and impressively demonstrates how technology, music, and visual effects can work together.
In front of the high voltage facility
An electrifying highlight awaits our visitors: a custom-built Tesla transformer generates an electric field in a secure area. This not only produces impressive electrical discharges—it also powers an installation made of old fluorescent tubes, causing them to glow.
Two performances are offered:
7:30 pm and 9:00 pm

Admission prices
Advance booking: Tickets € 7.00 per person (this price is valid until 25.10.2025, 17:00) at the Zittauer Gebirge Nature Park Tourism Centre, Zittau Municipal Museums or the Church of the Holy Cross Museum.
Box office: € 9.00 per person (this price is valid from 25.10.2025, 17:00)
On the day of the event, you can purchase Culture Night tickets from almost all participating institutions.
Children and young people with a school ID card from general schools have free admission.
