Are you currently in a 'Studienkolleg' (preparatory college) and wondering what comes next? Discover the KIA study model—a degree course that pays you.
This event offers you the perfect opportunity to learn all about the Cooperative Study Program with Integrated Training (KIA) at HSZG. The KIA model combines academic study with extensive practical study phases at a company, offers you a monthly stipend, and enables you to earn two full-fledged degrees upon graduation: a college degree and a vocational certificate.
We’ll explain how the KIA (sandwich-style) degree course works, which KIA models and degree programmes are right for you, and what benefits this unique program offers. We’ll show you how to find your apprenticeship or internship position and how to get the application process off to a good start.
Join us and take the first step toward your professional future in Germany! Admission is free—no registration required!
- Real insights into the KIA (sandwich-style) degree course through testimonials from a former student at the preparatory college (Studienkolleg) and a current KIA student from Morocco
- Relaxed atmosphere
- Light snacks and drinks
- Personalized counseling
The following events are being offered to students at the preparatory college this semester:
- Workshop “Application, but Right Way!” | October 21, 2026: In this workshop, you’ll learn the most important aspects of a professional application, including how to write a cover letter, create a resume, present yourself in an interview, and convince the company of your skills.
- Late Shift – Company Open House | November 6, 2026: Companies in the region are opening their doors to you. Join us to discover your career opportunities and get to know our KIA partner companies! Registration is open until October 13, and space is limited.
You can find the registration forms for both events under the respective event links.
Can't make it? Don't worry! During the semester, you can visit the 'Studienkolleg' (preparatory college) on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for counseling on the KIA (sandwich-style) degree course in German, English, and Polish.
