Dear students,
The Department of Computer Science at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will be hosting our IT Summer Festival this year on June 13. We’d like to meet on campus and explore computer science together.
This year’s event will focus on a competitive class / course where you can bring your own projects to life in a fun and engaging way. These projects will be evaluated at the end of the day.
After a topic-specific introduction to programming in one of three possible specialization tracks, you’ll program a mobile robot—Robo-Cup, develop an application for the Internet of Things—IoT-Cup, or implement your own little game—Game-Cup.
The event is designed as a playful competition that emphasizes enjoyment and teamwork. After a group snack, we’ll vote together on the most interesting projects and determine the winners of each cup.
We warmly invite all students in grades 10–12 to join us!
