Content-focused workshop as part of the Elitenmonitor 2 project

On 28 August 2026, a content-focused workshop will take place at the University of Leipzig as part of the Elitenmonitor 2 project. Project staff, who are based at the University of Leipzig, the HSZG and the University of Jena, will come together to discuss the current status of the work and agree on the next steps for the project.

In addition to an overview of the project’s progress, the agenda includes a discussion of the question ‘Who is East German?’, as well as further developments within the three project modules covering the topics of network analysis, career paths in the judiciary and social media analysis. Furthermore, there will be a substantive discussion regarding the design of a questionnaire, and plans for further consortium meetings in 2027 will be discussed.
