But the plan didn’t just go wrong—it failed MISERABLY!
Back then, the three-member gang led by their boss and namesake, Egon Olsen, tried to crack the Chancellor’s (Karin Hollstein) safe. The outcome of this heist?
After a slew of chemical demonstration experiments involving fire, smoke, and lightning, color displays, and flying ping-pong balls, Egon Olsen ultimately ended up in the HSZG’s “dungeon”!
Almost exactly ten years later, the day of his release is finally here!
This raises some questions:
What does Egon have planned next?
How are his accomplices Benny and Kjeld doing?
What does Yvonne actually have to say about this?
And: how does the University Executive Board handle the situation?

The event will take place on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in the Audimax Zittau (Z IV / 0.01). Admission is free - admission starts at 16:30.
The number of seats is limited - it is therefore advisable to arrive in good time!
