| End | 20. November 2023 - 19:00 Uhr |
Do you like chemistry as a school subject? Then take part in our ONLINE lectures on interesting chemistry topics. Here you will be on the trail of scientific phenomena in an understandable way.
This will support you at school and may also pave the way for you to study natural and environmental sciences later on.
Nanotechnology - The very small with a big impact
- How big is "nano"? Nanotechnology - a technology that sits between micro and molecular structures.
- Two approaches to nanotechnology will be presented: the bottom-up approach for nanomaterials - nanotubes & co - and the top-down approach - nanostructuring using the example of nanoelectronics.
- Another focus of the event will be on typical syntheses, such as atomic layer deposition (ALD).
Our speaker Prof. Dr. Gerd Fischer is a lecturer and researcher at the HSZG in the Faculty of Natural and Environmental Sciences with a focus on inorganic chemistry and inorganic analytics.
Lecture time: 6 - 7 pm
Please log in already at 17:45.
Registration will take place online and will be possible here in October.
Please register at least one day before the event so that you can get online access in time. The lecture will take place on the Big Blue Button platform (internet access required).
Participation will be confirmed with a certificate of attendance.
This is a joint event of the HSZG Faculty of Natural and Environmental Sciences and the State Office for Schools and Education, Bautzen site. It is supported by the Fonds der Chemischen Industrie im Verband der Chemischen Industrie e.V..
