Basic course in university didactics

The basic course comprises 60 units (TU) and includes a mixture of face-to-face and online events, self-study phases and peer observation. The course is part of the HDS modular certificate programme, which is based on the quality standards of the German Association for University Didactics and is recognized nationwide.

• Location: Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, campus and online
• Scope: 60 AE
• Period: 09/2024 to 03/2025

• Preparatory tasks and kick-off meeting: 09.09.2024 to 30.09.2024
• Kick-off workshop (Zittau): 01.10.2024
• Self-study phase to prepare for micro teaching: 02.10.2024 to 02.12.2024
• Micro teaching workshop (Zittau): 03.12.2024
• Self-study phase on selected key topics and for role reflection: 04.12.2024 to 03.02.2025
• Final workshop (Zittau): 04.02.2025
• Submission of learning portfolio: 07.03.2025
• Final interview: 08.03.2025 to 21.03.2025
