In cooperation with the Centre for eLearning (zfe) and the digitalization project D2C2, which is part of the Vice-Rectorate Education and International Affairs, a service has been established in which lecturers at the HSZG can share their experiences of digital teaching across faculties in order to promote the transfer of best practice approaches. At the center of the regular online meetings is a 10-minute input by a teacher or a research assistant from a didactically related project. Participants have the opportunity to ask specific questions to the input providers, contribute their own ideas, receive suggestions for their own teaching and discuss with each other.

Topic: Digitalization as an opportunity - smart hybrid examination in the lecture hall using your own mobile device [Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Herrmann]
The implementation of electronically supported examinations holds a lot of potential, but also some challenges. In the examination concept presented here, the exam is conducted in person (on campus) using the student's own internet-enabled mobile device (also known as "bring your own device"), for example in a large lecture hall. This eliminates the usually challenging organization of implementation scenarios in often very small computer labs. The article presents the concept of a "hybrid CLASS ON CAMPUS" and gives an insight into the organizational framework conditions to be considered as well as the results from the practical application at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
