12th Zittau Culture Night: Black romance and the electric heart
This year, the HSZG will once again be taking part in the 12th Zittau Culture Night on 21.10.2023 with a program.

In the 19th century, there was a close connection and lively exchange between the art world and academic research. Poets drew inspiration from research and developed it further in their works. People were particularly fascinated by electricity. At fairs, in lecture halls, and in the imaginations of writers—everywhere, people were electrified.
Join us on a journey into the world of Dark Romanticism—featuring E.T.A. Hoffmann, Mary Shelley, and others—for a reading of horror stories, music, and thrilling experiments.

Advance booking: Ticket € 7 per person (this price is valid until 21.10.2023, 17:00) at the Zittau Mountains Nature Park Tourism Center, the Franciscan Monastery Cultural History Museum and the Church of the Holy Cross Museum
Box office: ticket €9 per person
Culture night tickets can be purchased from all participating institutions on the evening of the event.
Children and young people with school ID from general education schools: free admission
