We wish you a Merry Christmas and a good start to the New Year!

The year 2015 is coming to an end. Together, we can look back on a successful year. With almost 700 students, our faculty is the second largest faculty at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. We would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in us.

In the summer, the Master's degree program "Health Care Management" was successfully accredited. In the "Business and Languages" course, Prof. Dr. phil. Malgorzata Schulz as Professor of Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies Polish. Prof. Humphrey and Prof. Sadowski went into well-deserved retirement at the end of the summer semester. We would like to thank them for their tireless commitment to the faculty and the students.

At the committee elections in June, Dean Prof. Dr. Fred Schulz was confirmed in office for a further three years. We would like to thank Prof. Muschner (Dean of Studies) and Prof. Munkwitz (Vice Dean) for their work in the faculty management. Prof. Stöbel-Richter was elected as the new Vice Dean. Prof. Pflicke and Prof. Munkwitz were elected Dean of Studies. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all former members of the Faculty's various committees once again. We would also like to thank all new committee members for their willingness to take on responsibility and support the Faculty.

The faculty management is aware of your responsibility. Together we will tackle the tasks and do everything we can to continue to offer you optimal study conditions and high-quality teaching.
