Although video games have now reached the mainstream of society, they are still predominantly reserved for children and young people. This media world has a high access threshold, especially for adults who do not come into contact with digital games on a daily basis. The "Let's Play" workshop is intended to give educational professionals working with children and young people the opportunity to expand their knowledge on this topic and gain experience themselves. Video games are to be experienced and tried out in practice. Socio-educational approaches to dealing with digital games and lots of useful background information about the medium are also part of the offer. The workshop will take place on the premises of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
