Although video games have now become mainstream, they remain primarily the domain of children and adolescents. This media world presents a high barrier to entry, especially for adults who do not regularly interact with digital games. The “Let’s Play” workshop is designed to give educators working with children and youth the opportunity to expand their knowledge on this topic and gain hands-on experience. Participants will have the chance to experience and try out video games firsthand. The workshop also covers social-pedagogical approaches to working with digital games and provides a wealth of useful background information about the medium. The workshop will take place at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
