Biomass to Power and Heat 2018

"Biomass to Power and Heat" is dedicated in particular - although not exclusively - to the energetic use of solid biomass in decentralized combined heat and power plants.

"Biomass to Power and Heat" from 6 to 7 June 2018 in Zittau is dedicated in particular - although not exclusively - to  the energetic use of solid biomass in decentralized combined heat and power plants. This takes into account the entire process chain, from the cultivation, harvesting and processing of biomass to the conversion process for the provision of useful energy and the problem of residues. The variety of technical approaches to this is enormous, but thermochemical biomass gasification will be a thematic focus of the event.

Experts and interested parties will be given the opportunity to present and discuss their experiences, findings and scientific work. In addition to the development of cooperation with neighbouring countries to the east, this year's focus will be on the contribution of decentralized biomass energy to the restructuring of the energy system and employment in the lignite region of Lusatia and thus the following question: How can coal-fired power plants be replaced by many decentralized renewable energy plants with comparable security of supply?

You can find more information and the link to register (possible until 23.5.18) here: http://ipm.hszg.de/veranstaltungen/biomass-to-power-and-heat-2018.html

Please note: Separate registrations are required for the satellite events "Fachseminar", "Firmenbörse" and "CIO Arbeitskreis Biomasse" (see flyer).
