From 24.09.2018 to 26.09.2018 the 33rd International JVE Vibroengineering Conference will take place at the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz. This conference is being organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Manufacturing Technology, Metrology and Quality Management (FFQ), in cooperation with JVE International, Vilnius (LV), for the first time in Zittau.

The overarching theme of the conference is: "Vibration and Acoustics: Challenges in Mechanical Engineering". The focus is on topics from specialist areas in which vibrations and their influences play an important role. Over 30 participants from 12 countries have registered for the conference. JVE International is a renowned organizer of international conferences on this special engineering field and publisher of the internationally recognized Journal of Vibroengineering.
