The 33rd International JVE Vibroengineering Conference will take place at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences from September 24, 2018, through September 26, 2018. This conference is being held for the first time in Zittau by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing Measurement Technology, and Quality management (FFQ), in collaboration with JVE International, Vilnius (LV).
The overarching theme of the conference is: “Vibration and Acoustics: Challenges in Mechanical Engineering.” The focus is on topics from fields in which vibrations and their effects play an important role. Over 30 participants from 12 countries have registered for the conference. JVE International is a renowned organizer of international conferences in this specialized field of engineering and the publisher of the internationally recognized journal *Journal of Vibroengineering*.
