Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences looks back on an extremely successful appearance at the INSIDERTREFF education and study fair in Löbau, where over 4,000 visitors enthusiastically explored the diverse range of programs on offer. Representatives from politics and business, parents, and prospective students were equally impressed by the booth, which featured numerous interactive exhibits, ample space for counseling sessions, and informative presentations. The event took place on June 10, 2023, and marked a special milestone, as the research and scientific institutions of the Görlitz district were represented for the first time in a joint “Hall of Research, Innovation, and Science.”
District Administrator Stephan Meyer spoke enthusiastically about the INSIDERTREFF education and study fair and praised Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences for its impressive presentation:

”With an exhibition space of 300 square meters, Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences took visitors on an exciting journey through its diverse range of degree programs. The focus was on wonder and hands-on participation, as numerous interactive exhibits allowed visitors to experience the university’s practice-oriented teaching and research firsthand. Professors, staff, and students were on hand at all times to help guests navigate the event and make informed decisions about their future studies. Many young people gratefully accepted this support, which particularly delighted Rector Prof. Alexander Kratszch.
The enthusiastic response shows that Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is recognized as an important center for education and innovation. The INSIDERTREFF has once again demonstrated that our region is an attractive hub for education, research, and technology.
