Privacy Notice Regarding Registration for HSZG Events

Privacy notice pursuant to Article 13, subsections 1 and 2, of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding the creation and use of video and audio recordings of events involving Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.

The following information pertains specifically to registration for HSZG events. The general privacy policy of the University of Zittau/Görlitz is available at https://www.hszg.de/fussleiste/datenschutzerklaerung.html.

Scope of data collection and storage

You can register for events on the subpages of www.hszg.de using online forms. If you enter information in the input fields provided and submit the form, this data will be transmitted to us and stored by us. This is all data that you have entered voluntarily and as mandatory in the form

The personal data that you voluntarily provide to us by submitting forms is used for the following purposes:

  • Creation of participant lists and name badges
  • Confirmation of registration
  • authentication
  • Obtaining feedback on the event

 The legal basis is Art. 6  para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Storage duration

Your personal data will be stored for as long as it is necessary to achieve the stated purposes. This is generally the case upon the conclusion of the event. For events subject to a fee, the retention period is determined by the statutory retention periods (in particular those set forth in the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the German Fiscal Code (AO)) or from an internal regulation of Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences regarding the retention and destruction of documents.

Transfer to third countries

Data is not transferred to third countries.

Non-provision

The General Data Protection Regulation grants you the following rights:
