Data protection notice for registration for HSZG events

Data protection information in accordance with Article 13 subsections 1 and 2 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the production and use of image and sound recordings of events involving the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.

Scope of data collection and storage

You can register for events on the subpages of www.hszg.de using online forms. If you enter information in the input fields provided and submit the form, this data will be transmitted to us and stored by us. This is all data that you have entered voluntarily and as mandatory in the form

The personal data that you voluntarily provide to us by submitting forms is used for the following purposes:

  • Creation of participant lists and name badges
  • Confirmation of registration
  • authentication
  • Obtaining feedback on the event

 The legal basis is Art. 6  para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Storage duration

Your personal data will be stored for as long as it is required to achieve the stated purposes. This is generally the case at the end of the event. In the case of chargeable events, the storage period results from the statutory retention periods (in particular from the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the German Fiscal Code (AO)) or from an internal directive of Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences on the retention and destruction of documents.

Transfer to third countries

Data is not transferred to third countries.

Non-provision

The General Data Protection Regulation gives you the following rights:
