And that's not all: Austria wants to become the most startup-friendly country in Europe by 2020 and is therefore supporting startups with a whole bundle of measures. It is clear that anyone who wants to be successful as an entrepreneur in the SME sector today should not only understand numbers, but also want to shape things and be open to new approaches and ideas. With the part-time Bachelor's degree program in Business Management - a cooperation between the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz and the IBS Academy in Vienna - you have the opportunity to expand your practical experience with future-oriented management methods or to gain a foothold in a wide variety of business sectors. The focus of the program is on human resource management, new technologies, internationalization and the application of different management systems.

Admission Requirements
You have a state-recognized degree:
- from a commercial academy or vocational secondary school (BHS) in Austria
- a higher educational institution for business or tourism professions in Austria
- as a business economist in Germany
The degree can be credited with up to 60 ECTS points.

Target group
The part-time Bachelor’s program in Corporate Management is designed for professionals in a professional occupation who have successfully completed training in the fields of commerce, business, or tourism and who wish to gain the qualifications needed for leadership roles.
You should be interested in taking a holistic view of business processes and possess a strong understanding of numbers as well as a high level of perseverance. In addition, you should be willing to actively incorporate the course material into your daily work routine and bring your practical experience into the classroom. -
Study program
Lectures for the Corporate Management program are generally held in person in Vienna, but they are also streamed online and recorded.

Study objective
The degree programme is offered with the goal of training professionals for roles in Corporate Management. It is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach to skills development and instruction.
This gives students the opportunity to:
- gain academic-level qualifications while working,
- acquire generalist knowledge in business management, and
- further develop their methodological, communicative, and interpersonal skills in addition to their skills in Business Administration.

Tuition fees
The following options are available for paying tuition (for a maximum of 60 ECTS credits of recognition):
- 30 monthly installments of 278 euros each
- 18 monthly installments of 460 euros each
- 3 installments of 2,670 euros each
- A single payment of 7,999 euros
In addition, there is a one-time registration fee of 499 euros and an exam fee of 500 euros for the bachelor’s thesis defense.
The costs include: the registration fee, access to the online learning platform, digital course materials, the exam fee, and the evaluation of the Bachelor thesis. There are no additional expenses throughout the course of study.
