The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Treasury Office & Project Administration (DFP), is looking to fill a position (40 hours/week) as of the earliest possible date as a

 

Project Administration Clerk (m/f/d)

- Keyword: SB Projects -

 

to be filled for a limited period of two years.

The position includes the following tasks in particular:

 

  • Administrative support and Controlling of externally funded projects as well as projects funded by the Free State of Saxony,
  • Ensuring compliance with various funding regulations,
  • Preparation of funding requests as well as interim and utilization reports,
  • Assisting with the recording, valuation and management of fixed assets for projects in asset accounting,
  • Organizing and supporting external audits and processing objections,
  • Advising project managers on administrative and financial issues,
  • Preparing forecasts and reports as well as proposing solutions in the event of deviations,
  • Independent communication with project sponsors, funding bodies and other stakeholders.

 

The following knowledge and skills are required

 

  • Completed degree in the field of economics, industrial engineering or comparable degree,
  • analytical, interdisciplinary thinking and quick comprehension,
  • basic technical understanding,
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel, affinity for digital solutions,
  • high level of communication skills, in particular addressing internal and external stakeholders in an appropriate manner,
  • knowledge of English.

 

The following are also desirable

 

  • Knowledge of the structure and organization of university business processes,
  • Knowledge and experience in university accounting and university-specific funding regulations and programs,
  • knowledge of the HIS software used at the university,
  • practical professional experience in administrative and financial project management.

Further information

If the personal and professional requirements are met, remuneration will be paid up to pay group 9b TV-L. The 1st place of work is Zittau. A probationary period will be agreed.
