At the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz (HSZG), Staff Unit University Development and Communication, a position (40 hours/week) is available as part of a federal and state-funded project "Developing, promoting and utilizing potential - attracting professorial staff through internal and external cooperation" at the earliest possible date as a

to be filled on a temporary basis until 31.12.2028.

The program to promote the recruitment and development of professorial staff at universities of applied sciences supports universities of applied sciences in the introduction and expansion of structurally effective instruments for recruiting academic excellence. These are developed in sub-projects with the active participation of the faculties of the UASG and brought together by the overarching project structure, taking into account the central strategic goals of the UASG.

 

In this context, the post holder (m/f/d) will work on the following tasks in particular:

  • Development, implementation and evaluation of an employer branding strategy for professorial staff,
  • Designing target group-specific campaigns and measures for HR marketing (e.g. career websites, business and social media networks) to achieve recruiting goals,
  • Editorial responsibility for HR social media channels including content development,
  • Supporting the recruiting interface of the HR and Legal division,
  • Support in cross-project activities of the university in personnel marketing, e.g. introduction of the campus app for staff.

 

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • University degree related to the above-mentioned area of responsibility, preferably in the fields of marketing, economics or communication and media management,
  • Experience in personnel marketing and employer branding,
  • interdisciplinary way of thinking,
  • High affinity and experience in the use of digital media, platforms and relevant IT applications,
  • Ability to work in a strategic, conceptual and interdisciplinary manner,
  • high level of communication skills, creative abilities and design skills,
  • a working knowledge of English.

 

The following are also desirable

  • Affinity and experience in recruiting academic staff,
  • knowledge and experience in project management,
  • further foreign language skills.

  • flexibility and commitment with regard to working hours, taking into account the requirements of the job,
  • a structured, pragmatic way of working, a high level of reliability and the ability to work in a team as well as

If the personal requirements are met, remuneration will be paid up to pay group 11 TV-L. The 1st place of work is Zittau. A probationary period will be agreed.
