The program to promote the recruitment and development of professorial staff at universities of applied sciences supports universities of applied sciences in the introduction and expansion of structurally effective instruments for recruiting academic excellence, increases their visibility and attractiveness as employers and increases equal opportunities, diversity and work-life balance.

In this context, the job holder (m/f/d) will be responsible for the following tasks in particular

• Development, establishment and expansion of a network of scientific institutions in the region to increase the visibility of Lausitz as a location for living, science and research,
• Conceptual updating and administrative coordination of the network work,
• Establishment and expansion of networking and cooperation platforms for professorial career paths, such as dual-career offers and talent pool,
• Coordination of communication with internal and external national and international stakeholders,
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary tasks within the project and across the university, such as personnel marketing measures,
• Participation in project management, including documentation and presentation of project progress.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• University degree related to the above-mentioned area of responsibility,

• Knowledge and experience in networking in scientific institutions,

• High affinity and experience in the use of digital media, platforms and relevant IT applications in HR marketing and recruiting,

• Ability to work strategically, conceptually and interdisciplinary,

• Knowledge and experience in project management,

• Experience in the organization and implementation of digital and analogue network and event formats (workshops, workshops, moderation),

• very good written and oral communication skills in German and a working knowledge of English,

• a high level of communication skills and the ability to be creative in conceptual work.

In addition, the following are desirable

• Knowledge of university procedures and operations,

• Knowledge of career paths in science and the specifics of dealing with scientific excellence,

• knowledge and experience of the Lausitz economic and research region,

• further foreign language skills (e.g. Polish/Czech).
