Last Friday, work on the introduction of the new GroupWise version (2012 SP1) was completed.
In addition to new components in the background, which mainly contain bug fixes and some new features, you will see the biggest changes in
Webmail
- iPad support with a specially adapted interface
- Automatic switch to "basic interface" when using tablets and smartphones (basic functionality available)
- Serial appointments (recurring appointments) can now be created very easily
- Graphical display of availability in the appointment time search in the calendar
- Column sorting in email lists
- Standardized signatures for webmail and client
- Photos of personal contacts
- Group management in the contacts

GroupWise client
- Optimized calendar - easier scheduling of appointments, graphical display of availability (appointment time search), calendar for multiple users with overlay of "substitution calendars", easier creation of recurring appointments, faster modification of appointments
- Integration of Skype, SMS and click-to-call functions
- Improved integration of Novell Vibe (team collaboration)
- Improved folder sharing (entire folder structures can be shared with one click)
