The Saxon Education Plan is the working basis for educational work in crèches, kindergartens, after-school care and child day care. The education plan is currently being evaluated and revised by the Zentrum für Forschung, Weiterbildung und Beratung gGmbH at the Evangelische Hochschule Dresden in cooperation with the Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz.

As part of the project to evaluate and update the Saxon education plan, an updated and practice-oriented education plan is being developed for educational practice, taking into account the current specialist discourse. The perspectives and needs of educational practice in Saxony will be given particular consideration in order to provide professionals with a practical, well-founded basis for their work.

During the course of the project, it will be possible to participate in various ways. The Saxon State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs has already set up adigital participation portal at https://buergerbeteiligung.sachsen.de/portal/smk/beteiligung/themen/1047263?zugangscode=NBspSijf , which can be used to provide feedback on assessments and suggestions for various areas of the current and future education plan. The portal is open until 19.02.2025.
