Advice, support and additional services at the HSZG
Studying is not just about learning. Studying is a separate phase of life with completely new privileges and challenges and often permeates all areas of life. The HSZG accompanies you, dear students, throughout your studies and especially as you settle into this new, often initially overwhelming phase of your life.
A tightly woven network of advice and support services is there to help anyone who is at risk of stumbling as they take their first steps through the still unfamiliar study landscape. In addition to the Come-in Weeks, including their preparatory courses and introductory offers, the "We for You" event has also been an important part of the program in recent years when arriving at university. All contact persons for advice, support and additional services at the university have always introduced themselves in person there.
To ensure that our new students do not have to do without "We-for-you" despite challenging and restrictive circumstances, the HSZG's advisory, support and additional services have now been combined in one video. This also has the advantage that they can be recalled at any time and, if necessary, simply by clicking on them:
The services presented here have been supporting our students for many years. They help to generate solutions for difficult life situations and enable all students to study successfully, regardless of external circumstances. This also has an impact on the number of early exmatriculations, which is well below the national average thanks to the advice and support network, among other things.
