After getting to know your strengths in the introductory course "New Year, New You: Recognizing and Developing Strengths", you will now learn how to consciously integrate them into your everyday life.
Building on your initial experiences with the VIA character strengths, we will deepen your understanding of your own strengths with targeted exercises from the evidence-based Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice (MBSP) program. The focus is on conscious self-reflection, mindfulness and observing your own patterns of action: you will learn to perceive your character strengths in everyday life and use them specifically to shape a fulfilled, resilient life.
The course offers practical methods with which you can gain more clarity about your personal resources and integrate your strengths authentically and mindfully into your studies, work and private life.
The Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice (MBSP) is an innovative training program that combines elements of mindfulness practice with the promotion of individual character strengths. MBSP was developed by Dr. Ryan Niemiec. The focus is on increasing awareness of your own strengths, perceiving them with more mindfulness in everyday life and using them in a targeted manner.
The scientifically based method supports you in discovering personal resources, reducing stress and sustainably increasing your own well-being. Through practical exercises and reflections, MBSP promotes a friendly, accepting approach to yourself and others.
MBSP is suitable for actively developing your strengths and shaping your everyday life with more presence and personal effectiveness.
The workshop consists of a total of five dates. You will also receive a workbook with reflection questions and instructions on how to integrate your character strengths into your everyday life.
