The 5th workshop for multipliers and those responsible for integration will take place from today until 21.10.2017.
For the 5th time, multipliers and those responsible for integration and school inclusion as well as interested colleagues and speakers from the Saxon Education Agency from all over Saxony will meet at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. The title of this year's 5.ZINT Workshop "How good that everyone is different! -School inclusion in Saxony between aspiration and reality" illustrates the tension between teachers from all types of schools who want to promote inclusive school development in the Free State of Saxony.
The demand to be 'inclusive' is being made with increasing insistence on all educational institutions, in line with the educational policy course set following the ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN 2006; 2008).
With the establishment of inclusion as a goal of school development in the new Education Act, Section 1, Paragraph 7, the demands on teachers in all types of schools are changing and expanding. In order to better accompany, advise and support schools on this path, the ZINT project was continuously developed from 2008 to 2017 as a concept for professional and cooperative support, development-oriented advice and in-service training for schools and teachers in terms of content and structure. The aim is to sustainably support and promote the process of inclusive school and teaching development in Saxony. Offers for advice, further training and qualification should help to successfully meet the changing requirements of everyday school life.
That is why this year we want to take the perspective of the founder of essay writing, Michel de Montaigne (1532 - 1599), who said: "It is not enough to have experiences - you also have to weigh, organize and process them and draw the right conclusions from them." We offer you our support for this.
