The HSZG trains apprentices in two professions, one of which is combined with a university degree.
At the start of the 2017/2018 academic year, five young people began their training at HSZG. Under the supervision of Ms. Petra Schmidt as their trainer, Ms. Lena Laßahn and Mr. Tommy Lösche are working towards a degree in office management. The three young men Simon Reinhardt, Paul Rohleder and Saroj Dhakal (from Nepal), supervised by trainer Andreas Israel, have opted for a technical profession. The special thing about this is that the two-and-a-half-year apprenticeship to become an electronics technician for devices and systems takes place as part of the cooperative study program with integrated training (KIA).
"For many years, HSZG has been giving young people the opportunity for vocational training, thus fulfilling our social responsibility to give young people in the region the chance to start a career," says Christoph Duscha, Head (first from the right in the picture) of the Human Resources and Legal Affairs division.
Ms Backasch (second from the right in the picture) has been at our university since 01.05.2017 and, as a member of staff in Human Resources Development, focuses primarily on professional qualifications. In addition to further education and training, this also includes apprenticeships.
