Celebrating the Completion of Vocational Training
Two businesswomen and one office management assistant trained at the HSZG are now starting their careers.
In a small ceremony, two business administrators and one office management specialist who had completed their training at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences were officially released into the workforce by Christoph Duscha, Head of the Human Resources and Legal Division; Petra Schmidt, the training instructor; Birgit Rößler, the trainee support coordinator, and Sebastian Fleischer, the chair of the Staff Council.
Christoph Duscha presented the three young people—Lisa-Marie Ulbrich, Julia Henschke, and Max Tusche—with their training certificates. Just last Tuesday, they had passed their final examinations at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) with flying colors. Christoph Duscha congratulated the graduates and, at the same time, thanked trainer Petra Schmidt for the high-quality and dedicated training provided within the central University Administration. Petra Schmidt praised the outstanding work of all the graduates, who are well-prepared for their future responsibilities and the start of their careers.
The graduates have successfully completed their training. Now they are going their separate ways.
Max Tusche has decided to earn his university of applied sciences entrance qualification at the Vocational School Center in Zittau.
Lisa-Marie Ulbrich will remain at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and, at the Görlitz campus, will work on a temporary basis in the secretariat of the Faculty of Managerial and Cultural Studies while also taking over the secretariat of the administrative offices for the TRAWOS, GAT, and BIK institutes.
Julia Henschke will also remain at the university for the time being until the end of summer 2018. She will serve as a temporary replacement in the secretariats of the 'Studienkolleg' (preparatory college) and Student Services & International Affairs.
Since both office management assistants are now employed in the public sector, they have access to the Free State of Saxony’s job pool to submit applications for other positions if necessary.
