4th workshop in the ZINT project

Developing inclusive schools together. How school inclusion of pupils with disabilities can succeed.

From October 20 to 22, as part of the ZINT project “Developing an Integrative/Inclusive School Together,” the fourth workshop , titled “Those Who Learn with a Smile Learn to Love Life: How to Ensure Successful Inclusion of Students with Disabilities in Schools,” Recognizing Diversity – Experiencing Diversity – Promoting Diversity” will take place at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.

The workshop will focus on experiences, research, and cooperation, and will offer advocates and those responsible for integration the opportunity to share and expand their expertise, experiences, and skills regarding inclusive school design. Various speakers will provide insights into how inclusion-oriented instruction can succeed. Scholars from across Germany and beyond will enrich the conference with lectures and seminars on diverse issues and aspects of instructional design. In addition, workshops on supporting students with various special educational needs will complement the professional exchange. As a special highlight, in collaboration with the regional team of the German School Academy, we have succeeded in integrating examples of inclusive practices in schools into the conference. Reports on international experiences with implementing inclusive education will also enrich the conference. Additionally, literature will be made available to help deepen professional knowledge and facilitate professional self-reflection.
